Established in 1997 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with the support of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, Dravidian University is dedicated to the integrated development of Dravidian languages, literature, culture, folklore, history and tribal studies. Located at the tri-junction of three states, it serves as a beacon of higher education in this region.

Rules & Regulations
The activities of the University are governed under Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations within the framework of University Act.
Statutes Subject to the Provision of the University Act, the Executive Council may from time to time make new statutes or any statute in addition to the first statute.
Ordinances The Executive Council shall make ordinances subject to the provisions of the University Act and deal with all Academic matters.
Regulations The Academic Senate shall make regulations in respect of Admissions, Examinations, Exemptions etc.
