International Students Cell

Dravidian University, in the spirit of serving the cause of higher education at international level, established its International Students Cell in the year, 2018. To recall, the sponsorship of ICCR, New Delhi came handy for initiating the journey. The conception and establishment of the International Students Cell has proved to be and naturally and nature-wise also advantageous to the university as the location of the university being close to the International Air Port, Bangalore and the physical ambience of the university being congenial and peaceful, surrounded by having lush green and hilly terrain, consistently having mild temperature throughout the year.

The International Students became functional with the admissions, sponsored by ICCR, New Delhi, of Mr. Ryno Settrisman of Indonesia and Mr. Ndayikengurukiye Eliphase of Burundi in MA English Programme in the academic batch, 2018-20 in the Department of English and Communications, and in the same  academic batch in the Department of Computer Science Mr. Troy Nicholas Ismond of Guyana in M.Sc Computer Science Programme, and subsequently with the admission of Mr. Sambou L Fatty of Gambia in the academic batch years, 2019-22 in B.Sc Biotechnology Programme in the Department of Biotechnology Department and further in the academic year, 2019-20, with the admission  of Ms. Algirmaa Balijinnyam of Mongolia in Ph.D. Programme who received her Ph.D. from the Department of Dravidian and Computational Linguistics in the year 2024. It is gladdening to record that all the international students have completed their studies and successfully graduated from the respective departments of the university.

However, presently the provision of admissions under the auspices of the Cells are on hold as the ICCR took a decision in the year, 2020-21 to sponsor students to the universities with NAAC “A” Grade accreditation only. Hence the university is striving its efforts to acquire the required grading of NAAC and continue with its cause of serving the International Students. 

The following are the successive Coordinators of the International Students Cell, during the periods, mentioned: Prof Ch.A.Rajendra Prasad, 2018-2021, Dr. B. Srinivas, 2022-23 and ever since Dr. P. Murali Krishan Reddy till date.

• We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY account due to you quoting an incorrect account number or incorrect personal details. Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.
• If the card supplier declines payment the DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.
• In no event will the DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.
• Payment gateway Transaction charges are to be borne by the citizens only

Refund Policy/Cancellation Policy

• If the Customer leaves the DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY before they complete their service period, there shall be no entitlement to a refund of paid service fees.
• Refunds, if applicable, at the discretion of the Management, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction. For the avoidance of doubt nothing in this Policy shall require the DRAVIDIAN UNIVERSITY to refund the Fees (or part thereof) unless such Fees (or part thereof) have previously been paid.
