About Department
The department of Malayalam Language and Translation studies was established in 2007. The Department is engaged in teaching Malayalam language and literature (M.A, Certificate and Diploma courses), translation of texts from other Dravidian languages into Malayalam and research in comparative linguistics and literature.
Objectives of the department:
Teaching: Offers elective papers in Malayalam language and literature and certificate and diploma courses in Malayalam language.
Translation: Translation of texts from other Dravidian language into Malayalam and vice versa.
